| The 8 series are excellent balers. The only major reason for getting rid of our 846A was that it didn't have net wrap, the dealer said there was no net wrap kit available for it, and the only way I can sell hay is with the wrap. You almost have to sell it at a loss if it is twined wrapped around here. That baler was a beast, though - it would easily perform just as well as any competitor. Trust me, there are days that I miss it.
On the drawbar height, I have it about as high as I can get it with our machines. It is at the same height that the 846A was at since we haven't changed tractors. I will keep that in mind though. Thank you!
