yes, you are going to need the 5 - 9 pin adapter cable and a serial cable. I can't remember if you need a serial or a null modem cable.
what is your yield monitor in the combine? my experience is your are going to have to change some settings on the ez-guide 500, most importantly the baud rate needs to be changed from 38400 to 4800. You'll also need a 16 mb card.
