Daily contact with PACCAR is more like it! We actually have resident Cummins Engineers at Denton. I'm actually in CES, so the dreaded emissions are my life. There's always going to be minor aches and pains with the technology, but we've made huge strides in robustness and reliability. 2017 aftertreatment is a completely different architecture, the DOC/DPF/mixer/SCR/AMOX are all combined in a single unit, and it is no longer a Bosch dosing system. The bonus to the new system is it's quite a bit lighter, smaller, and cheaper!

I remember seeing a QSK in one of our old test trucks years ago when I was a tech, but I think it got scrapped after our tech center got flooded. I did some testing on a 650/2150 RV calibration a while back (in a single axle daycab with an Allison transmission, more of a hot rod than a truck) maybe with the right trims it would work on your Pete :)
