NW IL, Mercer County | Cutting rye today. How long do you guys usually wait after small grain harvest to spray? Plenty of giant ragweed and small waterhemp that I blew straw back on top of. Dont plan on baling the straw but maybe I will if that means I can get better spray coverage. Plan is to seed oats, radish, turnips, and clover for late summer cattle grazing. I assume that roundup and 24D/sharpen will be my only options that will allow me to seed in the next couple weeks? | |
