Around here a lot of guys will use liberty or paraquat after wheat to control waterhemp, as those are about the only options to kill water hemp with no residual side effects. I ran paraquat pre-emerge on a couple acres where I planted sorghum-sudangrass/radish and it worked pretty slick.
