Corn Shrinkage

Subject: Corn Shrinkage



South Carolina		Local elevator is saying that they are going to charge me 6% shrinkage on corn that I have in storage with them. All the corn that I brought to them was under 15.5% moisture. I didn't think corn shrinks once it is put in a bin or does it? Thanks
