did you do the following
tap all head bolt threads
ensure the bolts will not bottom due to dirt in hole
rought grind head surface
use new head bolts flanged type
torque turn bolts as per instruction
liner protusion 0.000 to 0.004 above deck
use quality head gasket
JD 466 motor problem
