Bon Homme County, South Dakota | Gonna be just fine. It takes some tweeking, but you'll get there. Used to have a 4995, 3000 globe, 1800 screen, and SF1, and I made it work going 8.5 with a 15.1 swath setting. Big thing is sensitivity. The 2630 should come with some presets for windrower #1 or #2. Either will work, but if I remember correctly, you need to up the sensitivity to get it work better.
Now have a 2630, 6000 globe and RTK. The machine is almost perfect. 15.6 foot swatch. ATU wheel.
One thing I have noticed, the more downpressure you run, the better the GPS sticks on the line without overcorrecting. I usually run 900ish for pressure, and it works pretty good. As others have said, AB curve isn't the best. AB line, and you can fly tho. |
