Southern Illinois | Is it possible the filter is doing its job too well and is creating a lot of back pressure on the system and the weak link in the chain is the cap? What size pump are you using? My guess is its a pretty decent size and you are pushing a ton of water on a 3" fill. I would try metering my outflow from my tank and slowing down the pump to see if it goes away. If it does, you likely need to swap to a larger mesh filter or drop the filter all together.
For what its worth, I don't have a filter on the fill side, I took it out on my 4710 and just have the in-lines and at each nozzle. No problems here but we are using municipal water. | |
