Southeastern, PA. 30 miles west of Phila
You have a point but it still does not answer my question because I have also tested alfalfa hay bot a leaf analysis and the entire plant. Every time the ratios are similar to what the lab wants to see when I test wheat.

Now I don't remember excatly what the crop removal is for alfalfa but I do know that if you compare removal rates of P and K on alfalfa to what you actually find in the plant things don't add up. So where is all the P going that I apply?

I am quite sure there are a number of people on here that have noticed what I am observing.

I also know what the liquid fertilizer guys would say. "That is the reason why you can foliar feed a few gallons of stuff now and then with positive results". Problem is I have a hard time buying into that, but I can not explain why more than it does not make sense to me! Now I feel like I am going in circles.
