West Central IA | I assumed that if it was hot I would maybe have more burn on the beans but have a better kill, but I seemed to see the opposite response this year.
What I sprayed when it was hot and sunny just bronzed the beans a little, smoked the waterhemp, but didn't do much for marestail.
What I sprayed about a week ago when it was cloudy, 70*, and about 74% rh, burnt the beans so bad I was scared but also knocked even the marestail flat! Beans coming out of it now and I'd like to replicate the marestail kill.
Is this just a fluke or is there a reason for why I saw this? Didn't think the label talked much about app weather but I'll look again.
I used 16oz fomesafen, 4oz Altlas/cleth, 32oz powermax, 8oz tyrant crop oil, 8 oz guardian.
What I have left to spray has heavy marestail pressure and I need a good kill on that.
Pic of marestail and beans sprayed cool cloudy 7 days after app...
