Subject: Pasture weed question

West Salem, Illinois
I'm fencing some new old pasture and I'm worried to death about snake root. The area that I'm fencing has a creek thru it with a small wooded area the rest is open and good pasture. I've been thinking about getting a boom less nozzle and spraying the effected area, if I do this I was planning on using a 2-4,D triplet mix. The reason for running a hotter mix is because I have some bush honey suckle in the along the creek also.

Also has anyone every used an old tank battery as a culvert? It is going to be very little traffic mostly cattle and the occasional mowing tractor and four wheeler to check fence. Creek is pretty big and I think it would be a lot simpler to set some sort of culvert than have a flood gate with this that trying to put in a flood gate and a low water crossing.

Thanks for all the replies I'll get some pictures when I'm working on fence tomorrow!
