| With the long down trend since August 12 2012. I am not shorting in june this year, for the first time since the downtrend began. If the market breaks down I will reown in the futures on anything I sell too cheap.
I will leave the upside open at all costs on the 2017 crop as this trend has to change sooner rather than later, because so much time has gone by . As I said on here before , at worst we may end up with a goldielocks crop , just enough to keep prices flat but no sharp meltdown.
With this position I put in today I will not liquidate unless the stop is hit or good profit is scored, this is my line in the sand.
One bonus U. S. farmers will have on the 2016 crop is large PLC payments if prices do not rise much thru August , possibly .30 to .35 cents per bushel , which will be nice especially if you hedged 2016 crops at good prices
