NE KS | We had the BASF rep out just the other day. Sprayed some 2"-12" pigweeds 2 week ago and they were all bend over and twisted up then a week ago some of them started to stand up. Dad got nervous and thought we should spray again so I told coop rep to get out and look. What we found is even though the plants stood back up the stem was rotten at the base, meaning it was dead. Dicamba moves from top of plant to the roots but plant has enough energy in the stem to stand back up. I have to give pigweeds credit, they are a tough SOB and refuse to give up. The reps advice was to wait another week, so I guess after 3 weeks if you still have green weeds you might have some escapes. | |
