Subject: Paint the Screen - Coverage Map

Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463
A Coverage Map will do wonders for ease of driving.

I could very easily spray or other field operation with a display that just had a coverage map.

Looking at a coverage map you could drive as if disking or some other operation, that you just drive off of the last pass.

When spraying knowing when you hit the already sprayed headlands is very nice.

Really think the only thing I could not do is strike out across the middle of a field in a super straight line. That is a first pass without driving off of the fence.

I have both a Raven Cruizer and a Ag Leader Compass that will do coverage maps
Will also do light bar guidance.
And both will do auto steer with the purchase of the extra equipment. Last I knew about $3,500-

Pretty sure a Cruizer is less than $2000-
The Compass is maybe $1,200- , Ag Leader prices receivers separate. WAAS model about $1000-
These are about four year old prices, may have changed.

The first picture is a coverage map on a older Auto Farm display that I have. This is spraying.
The darker green area to the right and top has not been sprayed yet.
The lighter colored area to the left has been sprayed.
The icon in the center is the tractor and sprayer.

The lower picture is the same Auto Farm unit. This time getting close to the headlands. You can also see that I am driving a bit to far to the right.

If I had a choice between:
A unit that would lightbar only
Vs a unit that would do a coverage map only.

I would take the coverage map unit - In a heartbeat.
