perryton, tx | This is on 02 2500HD with 8.1 engine and the Allison automatic-pulling a flatbed trailer with a 2000 gal water tank and a couple of chemical shuttles. The transmission has started running awfully warm so the 1st thing I did was check the fluid level-it looks like my hired hands have got the transmission more full than it should be but I don't know if that would create excess heat. The fluid level is about an inch to 1.5 inches over the top mark when HOT. | |
