Do you have plenty of steering authority while the implement is in the ground?
To be honest I would not be optimistic with a front wheel drive for cultivating between the rows, but I have no experience trying. I have planted using RTK with a MojoRTK and an EZ-Steer in a 4840 and I was actually fairly satisfied with that.
