| Draxxon, per our vet, is supposed to be effective for 14 days, but apparently not effective enough to show up in a pig's system after 5 days. On small pigs excede is a 7 day deal as well, but the withdrawal is 14 days and we don't give it large pigs. Draxxon is pretty expensive so we usually use excenel which has a short withdrawal and is very effective. Are these inside or outside piggies? You probably already have decent air (it's spring), but maybe more ventilation would help them a bit. I really like the walk in walk out principle of swine production, but it seems the pull out the 200 pounder sneaks in their all too often | |
