Butterfield, MN | There will be a learning curve to go from the Viper Pro to the 4, but the 4 can do just about everything the Pro can do. If you're happy with the Pro, it's tough to recommend changing over unless there's something specific about it that it can't do that you know the 4 is able to do. If the Pro is doing everything you need, you can stay with it. Any failures on it can still be repaired for a number of years, even though they quit building them about the beginning of this year. There will likely never be any more software updates for it. The 4, on the other hand, is still the current unit, and they will be releasing software updates and new features from time to time, so it's really up to you. | |
