Concordia Parish La. | I add Marine Stabil to all the Gas that I run in all my small engines, cheap insurance, I have to go get it in 5 Gal. gas cans, I just add Marine Stabil plus 2 oz. of Marvel Mystery oil to each 5 gal can before I leave out to fill my cans, this mix is used in all our 4 cycle stuff, & Outboard Motors that are 4 cycle, I got started doing this some 10 or so years back, we had a JD Mower, that if I didn't add the M M oil a valve would stick, always on the same side, a Gal of MM oil will last me over a year, Just good insurance the way I look at it, way back when, gas had lead to help lube the valve stems, after they took that out, I think the gas needs something to help these small motors
In my area we have a couple stations the sell Ethanol Free gas, that's what I use in all my small stuff, | |
