Sutherland, IA | We run a 20" coulter ahead of our knife and went to a 25 wave coulter after years with a strait blade and even messing around with a bubble coulter. It always frustrated me walking corn in the summer and seeing the slot in the soil cracked open. The 25 wave coulter loosens enough soil that it settles back into the knife slot and seals better and I don't see that slot walking fields.
As an added bonus I'm getting 2-3 times more life out of my knifes.
