Southeastern Tipton County, Indiana

redblooded - 5/23/2017 12:44 Bin running good all spring. Now weather has turned cooler now today it is running the trans HOT . Its showing over 200 then let it run for a bit at headland it goes down to 170. 2000engine rpm running 5.8mph . Is there any known problems with the cooler valving on these? Very early stages ofctesting as this only acted up just before lunch.

Use a temp gun to assure the oil is actually hot and to see if the oil is getting through the cooler. Don't normally have too much trouble with them heating up but there have been problems in the past with the temperature senders in the filter housing reading too high.
