Subject: How late can I roll my soybeans

The desert of MN.
Planted beans last Saturday May 13. I was planning on running the packer over them the same day but a flat tire on the 750 press drill changed my plan of getting done early in the day so I did not get the packer out. This field was disked last fall to incorporate some lime and was a little rough. Last week it rained almost every day so the packer did not move. Now the beans are about to poke through. The Drill did level it some but I'm worried about all the corn root balls holding the sickle up and leaving beans in the field. Can I run the flexicoil packer over them or is it to late and I will do more damage then good? TIA.
