United States | Here's a few things ill add,
the 1255 is wired like all other planters now, no need to purchase the wiring harness to add the 20/20
the accusat sensors suck and CaseIH has phased them out.
The old dickyjohn sensors work better, the new hirate dickeyjohn even better
I tried the johndeere wavevision tubes on my 1255, didnt like them. i dont think they fit right
Precision Planting offers a small short wiring tee to read the senors and still allow the Pro700 to also see the sensors, like the john deere always has
Precision now offers a wavevison seed tube for vset equipped caseIH planters. there is an aftermarket kit to connect the cable drive to the vset
I still use the pro700 to control and case meters. Just havent ponied up to switch everything yet.
I would at least pony up and upgrade to dickyjohn hirate sensors, unless you may go vset soon, then wait to get the case wavevision for the vset. (big $ difference betweeen the two!)
