Like was stated before 2 way radios can sometimes cause an issue with the StarFire receiver when keyed on. It could be either the radio, antenna, or antenna cable which is now causing the issue. The easiest thing to try is moving the antenna farther away from the globe. There is a Dtac case discussing this very topic. I sent you an email with the attachment.
