West Central IL | Borax will kill it. May be best to remove and replace materials though. If it's drywall, you can get the moisture resistant kind and it should help. I get a bit of mold on my rock basement walls. I scrub it down with borax and water and it takes care of it. You may want to take a sample and send it to a lab. Sometimes because it's black and looks like mold, it's not the bad kind. | |
