| You're not the only one to fall to this scam.
No one can guarantee they didn't put ransom-ware on your machine, and will boogey-up your personal data, making all your files un-usable until you pay even more $$$.
BUT, there are a few things I would recommend you do to protect yourself.
#1 - BACK-UP all your data (if you haven't been doing it)
#2 - Go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15088/windows-create-instal... - to get the media to re-install Win-10. Your machine has already been "entitled" to get Windows 10, so you don't need to have a product key like you would for previous versions of Windows.
#3 - WIPE the hard drive - reformat it will be plenty of protection. This will destroy all malware your "friends" left on your computer for you.
#4 - RE-INSTALL Windows from the installer you made in step #2.
#5 - RESTORE your data from the back-ups.
YOU MAY WANT to consider installing a hyped-up firewall that lets YOU tell your firewall what you allow for connections.
IOS users have a cool program called "Little Snitch" - https://www.obdev.at/products/index.html;
Windows users have programs like Net Limiter - https://www.netlimiter.com/
Little Snitch looks super-cool - I wish I was an Apple user so I could play with it!
You're posts througout this forum show you're a skilled geek - I'm confident you've already done these steps.
Best regards
