I have a perfectly fine inject printer. It's a Brother MFC-J870DW and the only flaw as far as I'm concerned is it has to have envelopes loaded by removing the letter paper first. Most of my printing is black and white. When I do print a photo they are 4x6 and there is a separate tray for that in the Brother. I'd like to have a monochrome wireless laser that I could have both letter size paper and #10 envelopes loaded in all the time. Then I could simply select which I want to print from the software without switching paper and messing around with the trays. I see there are a number of Brother lasers for around $99. Under no circumstance would I consider an HP. Sufficient to say I've had my fill of HP printers over that last 30 years. |
