After we kept antitoxin on hand never have lost one but these are all 250-350lbs calves on the cow and only a handful or less  Worst one was getting pretty stoved up and lock jawed with a nasty gooey bag easily 300lbs.  Think I put 20cc antitoxin both injection and down the throat, figured why not and did the same with Pen G.  That was also the last year we did NOT give the toxoid when we banded and haven't had one since.  Anyone who says the 7 way is enough to ward it off doesn't know what they are talking about.
