How and when do you make your decisions on the cut of replacements? Weaning, before breeding, breed a majority and sell the breds you don't like? What are the biggest factors you use to decide? I find it's easy to look at a 2 year old heifer about to calve, or an older cow, and decide phenotypically, but a weaned heifer calf is tough to pick apart.
