It did seem the advertising fell off after they got rid of the got milk? promotions. I understand the behind the scenes marketing with the food industry but it seems a upfront face would help as well.

At least during June if nothing else. Always thought different TV commercials that featured the farmer, hauler, processor employee, vet, etc explaining the industry from our side would help combat the activist activity by giving facts instead of fiction. I realize that some people are never going to change there opinion but for the average consumer who counts on dairy products to feed the family probly would enjoy hearing our stories.

Farm breakfast and tours are another great way to do it but that only helps the local community.

Just ate dinner at the pizza hut in decorah yesterday and the place was packed. I wonder how many diners even realize all the work that goes into the product sometimes.

You sure all of that 'cheese' was actually a dairy product?

There's lots of cheap pizza cheese that isn't a dairy product out there!
