High Springs, Florida | We've been doing a lot of peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, and lots of herbs in containers, inside a fenced in area, lately. Our main problem is deer, they decimate EVERYTHING. I had planted potatoes in January and they came up real nice. When they were about 8" tall, nice and green, the deer came in and ate the tops down, and then dug the seed pieces out of the ground!
Wife even planted a bunch of flowers at the end of the driveway, and the deer pulled them up out of the ground and ate them.
