| I have a neighbor that has an 85' N7 and he keeps breaking his chopper belt. The bearing was out of the chopper at the beginning of bean harvest and he got those replaced and it will run a little ways and the belts breaks. The guys at the dealership told him it was because of the tough grean bean stubble. It sounds about right to me with my past experience with an R6 Gleaner with an impeller rather than a chopper. We would always break the impeller drive belt in cheat, downy brome, or tough bean stubble. Does anyone have any help on this one | |
