| Back in the mid '70s we had an early freeze. I harvested a couple hundred acres for a friend that tested from 35 -42% in late November. Corn would just trickle out the unload auger. We didn't dare let it sit overnght on a truck. Don't remeber the TW but it was low, like in the upper 40s
Large farmer in this area has several thousand acres of corn that was planted in late June this year. Heard most of it was 115 day corn. A month ago we looked at some next to a field of beans we were cutting & it had just strated to dent. Have no idea what it tests but the leaves have that silvery white look from being frosted. Got down to 31 ยบ last week and calling for temps in the high 20s tonight & tomorrow night. Sure glad it's not mine.
