Aberdeen MS
My spreadsheet that I started with was a $10 program that fit on a 750K disk for DOS.

15 yrs of fuel use records gives me a very good idea of how much I'll use for a certain operation. Still have a lot of the same equipment. I use actual fuel used per acre for actual costs of an operation, but any trip over the field is a minimum of .3 gal per acre regardless if it takes that much or not, covers some of the gas in the PU for the runnin around. In a fixed expense, $X is for repairs farm wide and $X is for replacement farm wide per acre. Labor is charged at $X per acre.

It's a simple procedure then to figure projected BE prices with and without labor, with and without FSA payments.

As the year progresses, the projected figures are replaced with actual figures, so by the end of the year, a true BE price is available for marketing purposes.
