E.Central MN | yeah, I know they do a small amount of damage. I've left a couple 6 row strips of standing corn for a windbreak several years and see more damage from the corn knocked down by wind (corn borer or fragile stalks) than from animals. I actually was hoping the geese and pheasants would have cleaned more of it up rather than see it laying there in spring. And the short legged rats (raccoons) do as much or more damage than the deer. | |
