Canopy/2-4 D worked great for us, fields were clean through the early summer, then one shot of Roundup kept them clean through harvest. We've been on this program for several years, though, so I'm wondering about carry-over. Some guys won't use Canopy because they think it sticks around and then dings your corn the following year. My corn yields were rather disappointing, but I think most of that was due to only getting 1/10" of rain from mid-June to Sept. I heard that your corn will have a purple coloration if it's being dinged by leftover Canopy, and I didn't notice that in my corn this year. Rain makes grain, and I simply didn't get enough.
