North Central Iowa, Humboldt County | Our 8" lift plate is hard surfaced in a cross hatched pattern. How come you lifted the boot up? Ours I believe runs on the same plane as the plow.
We pull in 8" tile and we're told it would pull almost twice as hard as 5" but it doesn't seem to pull that much harder. When we get over 3' we pull with 2 tractors and over 5' we dig a trench with the backhoe to better hold grade and to prevent spinning out and having to start up again.
