Subject: RE: Cover crop termination

NE Iowa
I spray off the back of the planter and no-till into cereal rye cover crops. I always have my full load of residual products in there also. Cereal rye is easy to kill with just Roundup. The problem you will have will be the clover. Killing clover in the fall is easy but in the spring it is tough. Full labeled rate of Roundup will really put the hurt on clover but it usually takes a second shot a couple weeks later to finish it.
