Urbandale Ia, (but originally from SE IA) | My comments above could also apply to why LL beans have not been widely accepted or promoted by those that sell both seed and crop protection. Coops/custom applicators want to apply ONE type of product and not keep switching and worry about flushing, wrong product on wrong field/etc, etc, so keep recommending same products/programs to their clients.
If they've got 5,000 acres of RR beans, 500 LL, and 200 non GMO on a list waiting to be sprayed, you know who's going to be first, and who will be at the bottom of the list as time allows....
