I replaced broken springs on my Chevy 2500. Welded a big nut on a piece of shaft. Nut lets you hang that end of shaft on the bolt.. Shaft needs to be long enough to get you away from the truck body. App;y BFH repeatedly to shaft with extreme prejudice. Continue process on other side. May require frequent breaks for catching breath.
