Subject: RE: seed police

Lawrenceville, IL
i am new to the forum, so i don't know if thi has been discussed or not. obviously a lot of you here think monsatan is out to get you with the high Roundup prices and the tech fee, and so on... where i am wee are in the middle of wheat planting and the majority of growers are out planting their bin-run wheat from last year. i know Pioneer has started trying to get growers to agree not to save and plant wheat, but nobody says a word about that... they are trying the same thing with wheat, but apparently that's ok..

besides, when you really look at the advantages of planting bin run beans there really are very few. especially if you get caught, because most can't afford it. you singed the agreement, might as well honor it. i'd sure hate for the greain elevator to not honor the agreement growers have for contract bushels from your farm. in reality they are the same thing.. just my opinion
