Don't tube him milk. I'm pretty sure I gave the few I did that to acidosis. I guess it goes into the rumen and upsets the bacteria. The ones I tubed Gatorade to have all recovered. The ones I tubed milk have all "moved on to a better place". I Tried to revive them with Gatorade and baking soda, either they were too far gone or misdiagnosed. just learning the bottle calf deal around here. The can go south in 4 hours time. | |
