Modena, Wisconsin | That is correct. I hate when people put in 4 gig of RAM and then find out the OS only supports and reads it as 3 gig. Just something to make sure you are aware of when putting the new system together. Right now I am looking at 4 gig of DDR3 so Vista 64 will be my OS. The best thing to do is take your most commonly used apps and see what OS they run best in, it may be Vista either 32 or 64 or maybe XP. Just remember the days of XP are getting numbered and support will end sooner than that of Vista, however XP may still outlast your system if you upgrade frequently and by then Vista or even a replacement may be solid and work well for you then. | |
