I have had a Traeger for many years bought the wireless temp probe last year only time I use it is for whole chicken, turkey or larger cuts of meat. Steak and burgers can't hardly mess up after you have used it a couple times. No flare ups, takes a little more time to heat up (one beer). You will enjoy !
