I used to smile all day when looking around that cab post as opposed to a 1066 or 1466 with their joke of a factory cab and that wonderful rear end whine all day long. SG cabs were far from perfect but they were quiet and relatively comfortable. They had AC and heat systems that actually worked for more than a few days at a time. I never had any trouble getting in or out of them either. There certainly wasn't much extra room in them but sometimes that isn't a bad thing either. Some guys will fill a cab up with crap no matter how big it is. As far as I am concerned there wasn't a red tractor with a really good cab until the Magnum came out.
grew up with both. I just hate 20 and 30 series deeres. That 404 was a pile. They are the muslims of the tractor world.
