It really sounds like the problem is one or several of the relays in the dash...... You have to take the cover off the underside of the dash (below the steering wheel), and there will be 3 relays there...... I had one of them go bad and the rear roof lights on the 4240 didn't work. I was all over the breakers and the connectors......
