I'd have to agree with Fred. Sounds like you are pressing the machine pretty hard if you are running 200+ corn. If the stalks are green, I'd say definitely not. Just because the engine can handle it doesn't mean you aren't loading chains and gear boxes pretty hard. Green stalks, tall corn, cutting low -- I don't see running 5 mph. Dry stalks, standing corn, medium to short height -- okay.

At any rate -- sounds like a good harvest and a great crop! If you sold right, you got a three-fer.
