Southeast WI | Well, when this stuff gets rolled out of Washington who's the damn expert behind it? I know there's some pretty smart folks sct around the countryside that work for NRCS - however they are left to argue with the higher ups to tweak the recs and sometimes they can't get that done. You read what Loran said he accomplished plus a few others. However most farmers don't get that to happen, they use the stock recs which are expensive or don't work and say screw covers in this case, I'm not gonna do that.
Case in point. After corn or beans let's add diversity to our covers - in WI. Whats gonna work? I have some nice 3" rye - what else should be added so a higher CSP level can be attained? | |
