Subject: RE: IH 1020 cutting job

Bourbon, Indiana
First off I'd start by getting myself a manual for the head and reading in and out.

Secondly after it strats pushing dirt, stop, get out and look and try to see where it's pushing at.
Before I had my angle plate set right on the throat I would often see symtoms that you describe but came to find out that after I had about a half of hopper full that would be just enough weight to throw the angle of the header off again.
Sorry I can't be of much more help without being there.
Is tire pressure even, or right?
Head mounted correctly on throat?
